Exploit the Lottery and win
Have you ever wondered if it's possible to exploit the Lottery and win? This implies that there is a flaw in the system that chooses the numbers that can be exploited.
Let's look at how the numbers are chosen and see if we can come up with some ideas for exploits.
12 machines are used along with 8 sets of balls. Just before the numbers are picked live on TV, a machine and ball set are selected. So if we can rig a machine, we could maybe exploit this stage of the selection process.
How could the machine be exploited? It is difficult to imagine but it would need to be controlled as to which balls it lets through. This would require a sensor and a gate which could be controlled by a micro-controller chip implanted into the machine.
The sensor could be say, a miniature CCD camera. The gate would could be based on an air jet that is turned on or off by a tiny actuator. The air jet would block balls from the outlet hole or let them pass.
So the micro-controller would be programmed with the winning numbers and would interpret the image from the CCD camera to actuate the gate to only let through the winning balls as they bounce around in the machine.
To exploit the balls, maybe make the winning ball combination a different size such as by heating them with a laser beam. Maybe smaller or larger balls are more likely to exit the machine? This is the only technique that would not require physically handling any of the equipment.
Exploiting the actual results may be easier such as by intercepting the video transmission of the show and inserting footage from a previous show where the numbers are already known. Then there may be enough confusion in the media and delay in getting the message out that the results were rigged to make claims on smaller wins in multiple locations.
